Through the darkness comes the warmth of softly glowing candle light.
Bringing with it memories of times so long ago.
Thoughts of you that give me so much joy on such a special night.
Deep within my love for you has never ceased to grow.

Ageless timeless everlasting are the feelings that remain.
Hearing words you whisper as your own thoughts drift back to me.
Longing for the time our souls will be together once again.
Feeling I must somehow let you know of what will one day be.

To bring peace when all seems lost as you long for days gone by.
And give you joy and hope to fill your empty broken heart.
So as you mourn the time that we are not together you and I.
May the glowing candles bring you courage while we are apart.

For in the flickering flames you'll find the future shining bright.
Soft warm winds that whisper words of love I send.
The candles glow will light your way through the darkest night.
Its warmth will wrap you in my love to which there is no end.

So when you need to be with me just light a candle please.
Let it burn softly through the night and I will surely know.
Then I will come to stay by you and all your troubles ease.
Our hearts will be as one enveloped in the candles gentle glow.
